Introduction
When I was a kid, I was under the mistaken impression that I'd like to do
something with animals for a living. Something involving going outside. We have lots of
crazy ideas when we're kids, don't we?
Today my involvement with wildlife begins and ends at the Animal Channel. But not all of us are content
to stay indoors and watch Year of the Wildebeest. Some folks actually feel the need to interact
with the environment directly. It is that impulse that led to these pictures. They were taken by James Meyers, they're
all of birds and they're very good indeed.
I suppose I should pad this out a little but the work speaks for itself. My only job here is to
host it and get out of the way. Oh yes, one more thing. James suggests you hit F11 to enter full screen mode on your browser.
You can exit full screen the same way.
